Drop in Session with Redcast!!!!

Redcast is an indie pop / rock act from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2012. The band originally consisted of three brothers: Seth Brock (lead vocals, keyboards), Jarrod Brock (guitars), and Darren Brock (bass). After the independent release of their 2012 album Talent Show Runner-Ups, the trio added two more brothers, Gibson and Jamin Coy (lead guitars and drums, respectively).

The band is known for delivering pop hooks in the guise of indie rock, all with a decidedly retro spin, citing 1960's bands like The Monkees and The Lovin' Spoonful as major influences. This everything-old-is-new approach has prompted critics to suggest that "Redcast ventures into unseen territory, bridging the gap between what we listen to and what our parents listen to." [Skope Magazine]

By the time Redcast released Talent Show Runner-Ups', their single "Brite Black Suit" had already edged onto the iTunes Top 100 Alternative Albums chart, simultaneously garnering liberal amounts of airplay on Portland's 94.7 KNRK; the same radio station that later named Redcast one of the "Top 5 Bands in Portland." The buzz surrounding this fresh-faced quintet has continued to snowball, and with Redcast currently back in the studio, it's only a matter of time before they emerge with a second helping of retro-pop musical sunshine.
