Rob Rainwater is a singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist based in Portland, Oregon. Drawing on a background steeped in folk, country, bluegrass, and blues, Rob creates a rich mix of original and traditional folk and blues music played on guitar and mandolin.

Rob has played and collaborated with many Portland-area artists. During his years at Multnomah University, Rob led and toured locally with his band, Vagabond's Tree. They played primarily on college campuses and at local events. Since then, Rob has been gigging solo, honing his songwriting skills, and playing with numerous local friends and artists in pubs, wine bars, outdoor summer concerts, and special events all over the Portland metro area.

In 2013, Rob released a solo album titled "About : Time." In the same year, his songwriting debuted nationally in a film called "Welcome to Inspiration." Currently, Rob's music can be heard playing on the radiowaves of Portland Radio Project.
